FAQ'S

Important Note:

Many of our term class students continue their woodworking journey by rolling onto the next term. As a result, some spots are already accounted for. Secure your place early to avoid disappointment, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions about enrollment or availability. We look forward to crafting with you!

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably and ready to dive into the world of woodworking! Given that the workshop temperatures can fluctuate, we recommend wearing layers, especially during mornings and evenings. Closed shoes are mandatory for safety reasons. Don't forget to bring your own water bottle – although we've got your tea and coffee needs covered!

What are term classes?

Term classes are structured learning experiences comprising 9 sessions, each lasting 3 hours. These classes occur at the same day and time every week, offering a consistent schedule for participants. For example, if you enroll in a Monday evening term class starting at 6 pm, it will conclude at 9 pm. Check the classes section of our website for specific term dates.

What can I do if classes are booked out?

To secure your spot, we recommend booking early. If a class is fully booked, you'll have the option to join a waitlist. We strive to accommodate all requests and encourage you to reach out if you encounter any issues with the online system. Feel free to send us a message using the contact form, and our team will promptly assist you.

4

What tools will we be using?

Our woodworking classes provide an opportunity to work with an array of beautiful and essential tools. You'll gain hands-on experience with hand planes, chisels, mallets, spokeshaves, Japanese trim saws, and a variety of precision layout tools, gauges, and jigs. Discover the artistry behind these tools as you bring your woodworking creations to life.

5

Are materials included?

Yes, materials for all set projects are included in the course fee. However, it's important to note that the final student project does not cover material costs. Don't worry – we'll guide you on where to source the materials needed to complete your masterpiece. Our aim is to ensure you have everything you need for a rewarding woodworking experience.
